Garry WilsonGarry was born in Kemano, British Columbia,
into the Haisla Tribe of the Kitamaat Band. Early in his career development, Garry apprenticed under
his uncle Henry Robertson, and studied at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design. Residing in Vancouver,
BC, Garry works professionally carving, drum-making, and painting. The works he produces include both
traditional and contemporary Native design. Garry has participated in many exhibits in Western Canada
and the United States. His work is sought after and is part of many private collections.
